RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and execute commercial research to identify, quantify, define, and guide the development of innovative solutions to target markets
Work with Business Units to employ the Kaizen method to achieve growth targets
Serve as the commercial lead for technology roadmap
Serve as Project Lead and work with members of the global innovation leadership team to create strategic plan
Perform comprehensive market analysis (hardware and software) to identify strategic new markets to profitably enter
Mentor product managers, expand inhouse research methods, and Solutions goals

Qualifications:
Proven track record defining breakthrough products and customer solutions through primary and secondary research. Research experience should include “Voice of the Customer” (VOC), market opportunity analysis, field observation, and quantitative methods, including surveying.
Operate independently under predetermined goals

BA/BS degree required; business, marketing, or engineering (preferred)
4-6 years of management experience
Advanced marketing or MBA a plus
Must be willing to travel regionally and internationally up to 25%
